New Vertical Blinds with no weight chains along the bottom are now available from BetaBlinds, instead the weight is in a sealed pocket. The blinds are therefore much neater and there are two obvious applications.

Verticals with no chains and combined with a wand control or Powershade, can reduce the risk to children and vulnerable people.

Protection against infections.

With antimicrobial vertical (and roller) material BioCote® technology and the weld sealed weight, the growth of bacteria, fungi, mould and mildew is inhibited. BioCote® antimicrobial additives will not affect the aesthetics of products apart from imparting antimicrobial properties. Treated products will require no additional or specialist cleaning or maintenance.

SILVER TECHNOLOGY BioCote® has a low toxicity and is therefore a safe and natural alternative to synthetic (organic) chemical antimicrobials.
